Mini West End Girls (Mini WEGs) is the younger sister of WEGs. Launched in Summer 2020 the group was created for girls aged between 6 and 10. The sessions take place at Blackburn Youth Zone each Sunday.

The sessions are run by leads some of whom have graduated from the main WEGs group. It’s a place for fun, enjoyment as well as creating lifelong friendships. The girls move to WEGs when they reach 11 years of age.

Activities include arts, crafts, science, projects, building confidence, and outdoors visits. The focus is on empowering these young females into becoming more confident and making new friends.
