1V Cricket Academy was founded in 2017 to provide cricket coaching and development for boys and girls from age six upwards within Blackburn.

The Academy started with a small group but has now developed into two distinct sessions on a Sunday morning/afternoon at Blackburn Youth Zone.

Members are supervised by staff who are qualified Level 1 and Level 2 ECB Cricket coaches.  Each training session lasts an hour. The emphasis is on fun whilst making lasting friendships, improving health and of course learning how to play cricket. There is also a focus on skill development at all levels.

A registration fee of £15 is payable for a new kit. Session fees are £10 per month
