FINALISTS REVEALED
The finalists for the 1V Awards Dinner 2026, Blackburn’s biggest celebration of community excellence, were announced at a reception in mid February. After a break last year, the awards are back and promise an unforgettable evening recognising the incredible people and groups making a difference across our borough.
OUR PRIMARY OBJECTIVES
HEALTH
Through Baiter Sehat (Better Health), One Voice raises awareness of key health issues, and supports strategies to deliver health and wellbeing improvements.
EMPOWERMENT
Raising aspirations and opportunities for all within our communities to ensure that they fulfil their true potentials, via a number of groups and projects.
LEADERSHIP
2020 Vision and 1V Scouts create and develop pathways for those aspiring to become leaders now and in the future, in Blackburn with Darwen.
COHESION
Working with key partners, and events including Awards Dinner and Afternoon Tea, to develop both harmonious and cohesive communities. in Blackburn with Darwen.
