One Voice Blackburn aims to address the stigma of mental health by supporting residents to access early help in a warm and supportive environment. We deliver activities framed around the ‘five ways to wellbeing’ in our groups for young people (Mini WEGs, WEGs and EEBs) and deliver focus groups to discuss mental health and emotional wellbeing in both of our women’s groups and our men’s group. Several of our staff and volunteers are trained as mental health first aiders and provide 1:1 support for members who need additional support as well as signposting them to wider support by mental health charities and the NHS.
